Avenue A | Razorfish is a world-renowned creative integrated digital marketing agency with offices in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. As Account Manager, I aid and support the management of some of AA | RF's key accounts including: Gordon Ramsay, UK Online, O2, Standard Life Healthcare, Cheltenham & Gloucester, MFI and Anschutz Entertainment Group.

Account Management responsibilities:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the client's business and marketing objectives
  • Respond to client briefs, developing interactive strategies and written proposals
  • Develop account plans, identifying opportunities for growth and development
  • Work with the Project Management team to deliver the clients' day-to-day requirements on both a project and retained basis
  • Create and develop a close working relationship with clients ensuring that delivery always meets and exceeds expectations
  • Manage financial aspects of the clients activities including forecasting and invoices
Project Management responsibilities:
  • Actively involved in the planning and delivery of client projects
  • Act as the day to day contact for the client
  • Ensure with the lead project manager that the project is delivered on time and to budget and to the complete satisfaction of the agency and the client
  • Create progress and contact reports to the clients and for in-house purposes

Since in post: five-fold increase in unique visitors, visiting eight times more pages, spending six times as long on the site; 70% increase in downloads of PDF reports; four-fold increase in value of online donations; and fifteen-fold increase in amount of e-commerce revenue.
  • Project managed the redesign of www.wdm.org.uk for WDM, an international development agency. Managed usability testing and information gathering, prepared proposals and briefs to external agencies, developed site structure and design guidelines, rewrote content, sourced and managed budget.

  • Collaborated with charities worldwide to create and coordinate the new media for the Make Poverty History campaign in 2005, delivering dynamic solutions across a range of technical platforms including web, SMS and streaming video. A record 800,000 people took a single e-action on the Make Poverty History website.

  • Designed and developed an online photo database using a content management system.

  • Responsible for all online marketing, including statistical analysis, search engine and email marketing, monitoring ROI.

  • Responsible for online fundraising strategy, including donations, direct debits and email fundraising.

  • Led a cross-departmental web strategy group and managed overall new media strategy for the organisation.

  • Responsible for updating and managing the development of content and structure of the main site. Managed site's annual budget.

  • Managed and delivered in-house training to assistants who updated and wrote content.
